UII America, Inc. is building a world-class research and development team in Cambridge, MA. We are looking for an experienced software architect who can lead our software design, architecture and engineering to build software platforms to enable our software service and solutions which revolutionize future Healthcare. The successful candidate will exhibit passion for customer success, clinical excellence, and will show a proven ability to work on challenging software topics from design, development, through to final deployment. This position will report to the CEO of the company. UII America, Inc., a subsidiary company of Shanghai United Imaging Intelligence Healthcare Co. Ltd. (UII), is building an organization of highly-motivated, talented and skillful AI experts and software developers to strengthen our R&D power and address the need of our innovative products in the USA market. United Imaging Intelligence (UII) was established on December 21, 2017. It is committed to providing AI solutions for medical devices, imaging, and diagnosis - to helping clients better understand and embrace AI. United Imaging Intelligence is led by two world-renown leaders in the AI industry. Together, they will lead UII in focusing on "empowerment" and "win-win." Main Responsibilities

1. Design software platform architectures and lead the development;

2. Create and drive software product development and meet deliverables;

3. Help created software platforms and product roadmap to support our business strategy;

4. Drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment;

5. Establish engineering best practices to build a scalable and clean code structure;

6. Help maintain hardware assets and come up with best SW/HW combined strategy;

 
Qualification Requirements

1. BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field;

2. 10+ years of hands-on programing experience and expertise in software engineering best practices;

3. 2+ years of technical leadership experience;

4. Experience in technical strategy, planning, and execution for software platforms;

5. Experience in product development, release, and quality process at a rapid pace;

6. Proven track record in design, development, and deployment of software platforms and as well as driving the architecture design of successful software platform systems.
