We recently completed an important installation of United Imaging’s advanced uCT 780 CT scanner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Hospital in Wołomin. Thanks to Solve Medical's support, the hospital has been able to offer patients the highest level of diagnostics since October.
United Imaging is proud of its fruitful cooperation with Solve Medical, a strategic partner in the Polish medical market. This collaboration allows us to pursue our shared mission of implementing advanced diagnostic solutions to improve healthcare standards and access to innovative imaging technologies. One of the most recent joint projects between United Imaging and Solve Medical was the installation of an advanced uCT 780 CT scanner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Hospital in Wołomin. The hospital, which plays an important role in the local healthcare system, provides a wide range of medical services, from primary care to advanced specialist procedures.
United Imaging’s uCT 780 CT scanner is an innovative system designed to deliver superior diagnostics. Equipped with a unique detector based on the through-silicon via (TSV) technology, this system offers excellent image clarity by minimising noise levels and providing exceptional resolution. With a high-quality 1024 x 1024 matrix and the ability to capture images down to a resolution of 0.5 mm, the system enables precise imaging of detailed structures such as the internal auditory canal, small joints and lung tissue.
The uCT 780 is capable of processing data at a speed of 60 images per second, enabling fast examinations while maintaining full accuracy. Real-time monitoring ensures system reliability and minimises downtime. A unique advantage is the MAC (Metal Artifact Correction) technology, which provides clear images even in the presence of metal implants.
The system uses technologies that reduce radiation dose without compromising image quality. The uDose technology adapts the dose to the patient’s anatomy, while the KARL 3D advanced denoising algorithm produces high-quality images at low radiation doses. The 70 kV scan mode supports imaging of anatomical structures and detection of lesions.
Thanks to its innovative CardioXphase technology, the uCT 780 is particularly useful for cardiac diagnostics. With its short gantry rotation time and maximum generator power of 100 kW, the system enables accurate and fast imaging of the heart, supporting the diagnosis of cardiac diseases.
United Imaging develops its technologies in order to provide universal access to advanced diagnostics, contributing to faster and more accurate diagnosis worldwide. The uCT 780 not only meets the highest technological standards, but also reflects the company’s mission to modernise diagnostic medicine.
This CT scanner represents the future of medical imaging, setting new standards in terms of accuracy, efficiency and patient safety.
The Hospital of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, which is the main medical facility for patients from Wołomin and the surrounding area, also supports the local community through educational and preventive activities, responding to the growing demand for advanced medical services. The Wołomin hospital is a modern medical facility providing a wide range of medical services to the local community and to the entire region. It has specialist departments and provides primary healthcare in areas such as surgery, paediatrics, orthopaedics, gynaecology and care for the chronically ill. The hospital is committed to a high standard of care, with an emphasis on modern diagnostic equipment. It also runs preventive and educational programmes to support the health of the inhabitants of Wołomin and the surrounding area. The uCT 780 CT scanner is a key component of modern diagnostics, enabling patients to be accurately diagnosed and efficiently treated. Thanks to this state-of-the-art system and the cooperation with Solve Medical, the hospital is able to meet the challenges of modern medicine.
